Literature Text

Xe would molt ximself of all morality;
For if I was the cost to be paid, if my pain
paved xyrs path to peace in the Summerland,
xe would spit in god's face and set ximself ablaze.

Xe would skirt boundaries of time and place--
For why does it matter what custom dictates proper
in a realm that commodifies suffering,
you failed to offer me due process-- Why should you deserve better?

Xe would remake ximself into a weapon;
Judge, jury, and executioner. Xe
would not rest until all of me was appeased.

But if you ever were to hurt xim; xe would let you.

To all things there is order.
There are three characters within this poem; you, me, and xim- the author, the reader, the outsider. It's up to you to decide who's who.

tbh I really hate this, but I had so much fun fucking around with pronouns and thinking myself in narrative circles that I kindda want to share it regardless.
